The LAMB Society with The Partnership of Caruna Bal Vikas
(UNDER COMPASSION INTERNATIONAL), Chennai is running a Child Development Centre in the name of “Phoebe Child Development Centre” to develop the children whose parents are under poverty line (poorest of the poor) in the area of physical, spiritual and social activity. Besides this child development centre is looking after the welfare both in the terms of health and education. Education is being imparted regularly with qualified teaching staff in addition to regular school attendance in outside institutions.
The project started with 93 children on 2005, by the Grace of God this project was hiked to 250 children in 2010.
The partner is very much inspired by our administration and quality of hygienic being supplied to children, the additional sanction has been accorded. We are feeding the children in all aspects viz; supplying good nutritional food, study materials, medical facility, educational facilities, birthday gifts, x-massgifts, uniforms, clothes, and other hygienic supplies withal support, we are maintaining the project in an outstanding way so as to enable all the poor children in particular school drops outs are encouraged in studies and the support is being continued in all ways so that the child get in all future Endeavour’s.
By the activities being developed the project authorities came forward to sanction further two projects to the poor children and asking us to establish the centres for development of poor children. But we are helpless since the centre establishment involves huge financial aspects for infrastructure and accommodation. They are ready to sanction further 200 children for project but our hands are empty in this aspect. We are putting the requirements in our daily prayers before the foot of God to sponsor permanent donors / contributors for the establishment of projects and also the various programmes being designed.
